Gas tanker breakdown blocks Ado–Ilawe Road, FRSC alerts motorists

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ekiti State Command, wishes to inform the general public and all motorists that a tanker loaded with gas has broken down and is blocking the entire carriageway on the Ado–Ilawe Road.
The incident has completely disrupted the flow of traffic along that axis.
In view of the above, all motorists are strongly advised to avoid the Ado–Ilawe Road for now and use alternative routes until further notice.
All relevant emergency services have been activated and are currently on the ground, cordoning off the area with a view to resolving the situation and restoring normal traffic flow.
Motorists and road users are enjoined to cooperate fully with FRSC personnel and other security agencies carrying out their responsibilities at the scene. Please obey all traffic directions and diversions.
The public will be duly informed as soon as normalcy is restored.
We regret the inconvenience this may cause.
