Fulham Complete Signing Real Madrid’s

Premier League side Fulham have strengthened their squad ahead of the new season by completing the signings of Spanish duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid on long-term contracts.

Both players have signed five-year deals that will keep them at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2031, with Fulham holding the option to extend each contract by an additional year.

Garcia, 22, arrives as Fulham’s marquee attacking signing after an impressive campaign with Real Madrid, where he made 39 appearances across all competitions and scored eight goals.

The striker also earned his first senior call-up for Spain in June, further underlining his rapid rise.

The move reunites Garcia with Fulham’s new manager, Alvaro Arbeloa, who previously worked with the forward during his coaching stint in Madrid.

Reports indicate the Premier League club paid around £34 million to secure the Spanish international’s services.

Speaking after completing the transfer, Garcia expressed his excitement about the new challenge.

“I’m very grateful and very happy to be here. I have to thank the board and Arbeloa for the trust they’ve shown in me, and I’m really excited to get started,” he said.

Joining him at Fulham is 21-year-old attacking midfielder Cesar Palacios, another promising graduate of Real Madrid’s academy.
