FRC, ICAN Leaders Push Stronger Financial Governance At US Conference
The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC), Dr Rabiu Olowo, has joined accounting professionals and industry leaders at the 13th International Accountants Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in Newark, New Jersey, United States….
The Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC), Dr Rabiu Olowo, has joined accounting professionals and industry leaders at the 13th International Accountants Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in Newark, New Jersey, United States.
Among those in attendance were ICAN President and Chairman of Council, Hajia Queensley Sofuratu Seghosime, Dr Deji Awobotu, Chief Executive of ADRAC Professional Services Limited, and other senior executives from the accounting profession.

The conference provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas on strengthening the accounting profession and promoting best practices in financial reporting and corporate governance.
Discussions focused on advancing transparency, accountability and excellence in governance across both the public and private sectors, while reinforcing the role of professional accountants in supporting sustainable economic development.
