The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD, FCAI, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening inter-agency cooperation with the Nigerian Army to enhance security across the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, ANIPR, MIPRA, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Sanusi made the commitment when he received the Commander, Army Headquarters Garrison, Major General JR Lar, who led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Abuja.

During the visit, Major General Lar acknowledged the existing collaboration between the FCT Police Command and the Army Headquarters Garrison and solicited continued cooperation in intelligence sharing, joint operations and the promotion of camaraderie among personnel of both formations.
