Anoka said the restoration was carried out under the directive of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, ending the community’s prolonged lack of electricity.

“The restoration was completed under the directive of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, bringing an end to the community’s prolonged wait for electricity,” he said.

The commissioner said the return of electricity would provide relief to residents and support households, businesses and other economic activities in the community.

Residents of Utagba-Ogbe had endured 16 years without a vital public utility before the restoration.
