Desmond Elliot returns to Nollywood after APC primary defeat [Video]

The lawmaker representing Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Desmond Elliot, has reportedly returned to Nollywood following his defeat in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.
This comes after photos of him on a movie set with fellow actor Ibrahim Chatta surfaced on social media.
The images showed the former Nollywood movie star and Chatta standing together on what appeared to be a film set while engaged in conversation during a production.
Several social media users said they were eager to see Elliot back on screen after years of active politics as a Lagos State lawmaker.
DAILY POST recalls that the Nollywood veteran-turned-politician recently failed in his bid to secure the APC ticket for Surulere Constituency I ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The three-term lawmaker lost the party’s primary election to Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, who polled an overwhelming majority of votes in the contest.
