African Democratic Congress (ADC) 2027 presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has urged party leaders in Adamawa State to unite members and intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atiku made the call after meeting with ADC candidates contesting various elective positions in the state, including the party’s governorship candidate, Hamman Tukur Ribadu.

“Earlier today, I met with my fellow 2027 Adamawa State African Democratic Congress candidates across all elective positions, including our governorship candidate, Hamman Tukur Ribadu,” Atiku said in a post on X.

He urged the party’s leadership in the state to resolve internal differences, strengthen unity and begin sustained engagement with voters ahead of the elections.

“I urged the party leaders, led by the Deputy National Chairman North East, Mr Daniel Bwala, and State Chairman Rt. Hon. Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin, to reconcile and unite all party members, and to begin engaging with our people through mass mobilisation and voter sensitisation efforts ahead of the upcoming general elections,” he said.

Atiku expressed satisfaction with the emerging unity within the party and urged its leaders and members to sustain the momentum.

“I am pleased to see the party uniting to form a common front. I have encouraged them to maintain these efforts,” he added.
