Supporters and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the 30 local government areas, have gathered in large numbers in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, ahead of the party’s mega campaign rally scheduled for Thursday.

The campaign rally is yet to officially commence, but the venue has already been filled with party members and supporters who turned out to show solidarity with the party ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, is also expected to arrive at the campaign venue shortly.

Meanwhile, increased vehicular movement has been reported around the Ogooluwa axis of Osogbo as supporters and other residents make their way to the rally venue.

The development has resulted in traffic congestion in parts of the area, with motorists experiencing delays around the axis.

The APC mega rally is one of the final major campaign activities by the party ahead of the Osun governorship election scheduled for Saturday, August 15.
