The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, says it is studying the results of the 2026 governorship election across the 332 wards in the state to determine its next line of action.
The party, in a statement signed by its Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, said the electoral process does not end with the announcement of results, noting that the law provides opportunities for aggrieved parties to seek redress through the tribunal, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
The APC said it would consult its team of lawyers and, based on their professional advice, explore the legal options provided under the Electoral Act.
It described the development as part of the democratic process and commended its members and supporters for their steadfastness, loyalty and contributions throughout the election.

The party urged its members and supporters to remain calm, continue with their businesses and avoid responding to provocative actions or statements from members of the ruling party.
It assured them that the leadership would not abandon them and expressed confidence that the current political situation would eventually become part of the state’s history.
The APC also appealed to the Nigeria Police Force to protect its members and supporters who, it alleged, were being molested by opposition members.
The party reiterated its commitment to the rule of law, fairness and justice, while urging its supporters to remain steadfast, saying the political process is not over until all constitutionally provided avenues have been exhausted.
