The Kebbi State All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced Ibrahim Muhammad Augie as the new running mate to Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The Declaration was announced by the APC National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Muhammad, on sunday alongside party officials and supporters.

Suleiman Call on all to accept it as the will of God and call on the people of the state and followers of Now deputy Governor Abubakar Umar Tafida to work together for the betterment of state.

Briefing journalist after the event Govenor Nasir Idris assures the people that he doesnt have a problem with his now deputy Senetor Abubakar Umar, and he assures all supporters that he will work with the new deputy.

Ibrahim Muhammad Augie , served as a former commisoner of finance during the tenure of former Governror Atiku bagudu, He hails from augie local govenrmnt area of Kebbi State.
