The visits, according to the Lagos State Government, were aimed at fostering closer working relationships with the Nigeria Police Force and reinforcing cooperation in safeguarding lives, property and public health within the Alimosho community.
During a visit to the Area Commander of the Idimu Police Area Command, ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda, Dr. Akinlade said the engagement was designed to establish and sustain a productive partnership between the hospital and the police.

Responding, ACP Abaniwonda commended the hospital management for the initiative, describing it as a timely step towards improving collaboration between the health and security sectors.
She assured the hospital of the command’s readiness to provide prompt support whenever required and appealed to the management to continue giving priority to emergency medical care for police officers and personnel.
The hospital management also visited the Divisional Police Officer of Igando Police Station, Superintendent of Police Charles Oladele, where discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in addressing security-related issues affecting the facility.
Welcoming the delegation, SP Oladele reaffirmed the commitment of the division to supporting the hospital whenever the need arises.
“I am always a call away, and my team will be there whenever the need arises,” he said.
The Lagos State Government said the engagements provided an avenue to deepen inter-agency collaboration while reaffirming the commitment of both the hospital and the police to promoting the safety, security and well-being of residents across the Alimosho community.
