In a statement on Thursday, signed by the Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, the president hailed him for his excellence, integrity, patriotism, and unwavering service to Nigeria.
President Tinubu commended Fagbemi’s decades of meritorious contributions to the legal profession, beginning with his admission to the Nigerian Bar in 1985 and culminating in his emergence as one of the country’s most respected advocates and legal minds.
He said, “Prince Fagbemi’s elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria at a remarkably young age reflected not only his exceptional advocacy but also the diligence, discipline and intellectual rigour that have remained the hallmarks of his career.

His leadership of the Governing Council of Yaba College of Technology further demonstrated his capacity to strengthen institutions through prudent and principled administration.”
On his impact since the assumption of office in 2023, the president said, “Prince Fagbemi, as the Attorney General of the Federation, has provided invaluable and sound legal guidance to the administration while leading important reforms aimed at strengthening the rule of law, modernising justice administration, enhancing institutional coordination and safeguarding the constitutional responsibilities of the Federal Government.
