Growing up in Slough, England, in a traditional Punjabi family, she first noticed fine hairs appearing on her face when she was only 11 years old. At the time, she had no idea why her body was changing.A year later, doctors diagnosed her with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal condition that can increase testosterone levels in women. The condition caused excessive hair growth across her face and body, eventually leading to a full beard while she was still a young teenager.
