Real Madrid have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Ivorian winger Yan Diomande in a deal worth more than €100 million, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Romano announced the breakthrough in a post on his official X account on Sunday, stating that all parties had reached a full agreement for the highly rated attacker.
The transfer expert disclosed that Diomande is expected to travel to Madrid this week to undergo a medical before signing a long-term contract that will keep him at the Santiago Bernabéu until June 2031.
“BREAKING: YAN DIOMANDE TO REAL MADRID, HERE WE GO! Agreement closed tonight with RB Leipzig for fee over €100m for the Ivorian winger.
“Diomande will fly to Madrid this week for medical tests and contract signing until June 2031. DONE,” Romano posted.

The move represents one of the biggest transfers of the summer window and further strengthens Real Madrid’s attacking options as the Spanish giants continue to invest in young talent.
Once the deal is officially completed, Diomande will become the latest African star to join the 15-time European champions.
