Popular singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, and Nollywood actor Charles Okocha have renewed their rivalry ahead of their highly-anticipated celebrity boxing rematch, with both men confidently predicting victory.

The pair made their intentions clear during an appearance on TVC News’ Sports Desk on Wednesday, where they exchanged verbal jabs ahead of the “Chaos in the Ring” event scheduled for Friday, July 31 2026.

Portable expressed confidence that improved preparation would help him retain his dominance over Okocha, revealing he has been training under renowned boxing coach Taiwo Esepo Agbaje.

“I’ll beat him. I am prepared for this. I have been training with Taiwo Esepo Agbaje. I will beat him to collect my second belt,” Portable said.

The singer admitted that his approach in their previous meeting was flawed but insisted he still emerged victorious despite relying on illegal punches.

“The last time, I was throwing foul punches, and I still won. Now I have trained well; I now throw good punches. I’ll beat you up.

“Because you trained in London doesn’t matter. My fans believe in me. I have prepared, and I will win again.”

Okocha, however, dismissed Portable’s confidence, insisting the singer would not last beyond the second round.

“I’m going to beat him up. I don’t even need to train to beat him up. I trained because of my upcoming fights, not him,” Okocha said.

“I will knock him out. It might not come in the first round, but he won’t last the second round.

“Check the qualities of our trainers and see the difference.”

Speaking on the event, organiser Ezekiel Adamu promised fans an entertaining night of boxing, describing the headline clash between Portable and Okocha as one of several exciting contests lined up.

“You see Portable here, who owns the streets, and you see Okocha, an actor too, going head to head again; there are other exciting bouts on the fight card too. Another exciting one for the fans is Mr Real versus Idowest,” Adamu said.

The “Chaos in the Ring” event will feature several bouts, including rapper Mr Real against Idowest, Ahorgah versus Williams, Antwi against Jafaru, and other contests expected to entertain boxing and celebrity fans.
