Oyebamiji Expresses Hope Of Victory At Osun APC Campaign Council Inauguration

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated its National Campaign Council for the 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, expressing confidence that the party will reclaim the state in the August 15 poll.

Speaking at the inauguration in Abuja, the APC governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji ,said the composition of the council, which includes prominent party leaders, reflects the party’s commitment to securing victory and restoring what he described as progressive governance in Osun State.

He expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu, the National Working Committee of the APC and members of the campaign council for their support and confidence in his Prosperity Agenda, saying it had strengthened the campaign ahead of the election.

The candidate said his campaign had reached communities across the state, engaging traditional rulers, women, youths, artisans, professionals, students, market leaders, religious organisations and other key stakeholders.

According to him, the response from residents indicates a growing demand for responsible leadership, purposeful governance and improved economic opportunities.

He described the inauguration of the campaign council as a demonstration of the party’s unity and preparedness, pledging to conduct the campaign with dignity, humility and respect for democratic principles.

The APC candidate also commended members of the campaign team, party leaders and supporters for their commitment, expressing confidence that the party would emerge victorious and deliver sustainable growth and people-centred governance in Osun State.
