Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has expressed his ambition to return to the classroom and earn a university degree after bringing his football career to an end, describing education as a lifelong pursuit.

- He believes education is a lifelong pursuit that complements life’s experiences.

- He hopes earning a degree will inspire and set a positive example for young people.
- The striker encouraged school dropouts to return to education when they have the opportunity.
The Galatasaray forward made the revelation during an interview with reporters, where he reflected on the importance of learning both in school and through life’s experiences.
According to the 27-year-old, while football has given him global recognition, he believes academic achievement remains a personal goal worth pursuing.
“As an adult, not everything I learned in school. There are some kinds of life lessons you encounter through life’s journey,” Osimhen said.
He noted that the lifespan of a professional football career is limited, making it necessary for players to prepare for life after retirement.
“For me, it would be an amazing thing to also try to get a degree, which I’m still considering because football, you won’t play for so long, probably 20 or 25 years, and then you’re done,” he added.
