In a statement, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Mrs Abisola Dokunmu-Adegbite, said candidates who sat for the screening test conducted in May 2026 can now check their admission status.
She explained that the admission list has been uploaded to the Lagos State Examinations Board portal and has been accessible to candidates and their parents since 22 July 2026.
Successful candidates have been advised to confirm their admission status online before proceeding to their respective schools from 31 August 2026 to collect their admission letters and complete the registration process.
The ministry congratulated the successful candidates and urged parents and guardians to ensure that all registration formalities are completed within the stipulated period.
It also reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to providing quality education through a transparent and merit-based admission process into its Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools.
