“I’m going for the Indians” – Lady fumes after awkward encounter with Nigerian men in Canada

A Nigerian lady living in Canada has left social media users amused after recounting an awkward dating experience that made her swear off Nigerian men.
Sharing her story in a viral video, the lady said she had gone on a date with her boyfriend when he suggested inviting one of his friends to join them.
According to her, she had no problem with the idea until the friend arrived, only for her to realise he was her ex-boyfriend.
In her words, she said:
“Nigerian guys in Canada, na the same mama born una? Because, like, I’m done. I’m going for the Indians now. I was on a date with my boyfriend sometime last week, and he said one of his friends stays around the area and wanted to call him over.
I said, ‘No wahala.’ We were having fun until the guy arrived with his friend. Guess what? The friend he came with used to be my ex.”
The lady said she immediately buried her face in her phone and pretended not to recognise him to avoid creating an awkward scene.
However, things became even more surprising when the group decided to video-call another friend.
“The next thing, they said they should call one of their friends on a video call. That friend turned out to be my talking stage, the person I’m currently talking to. I’m going for the Indians, guys. I am done with Nigerian guys,” she added.
Her hilarious experience has since sparked reactions online, with many social media users joking about how small the Nigerian community in Canada appears to be.
