Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has amused fans after sharing a light-hearted moment with her son, Juwon Gentry, during an expensive lunch outing.

The actress took to Instagram to post a video from their date, revealing that her son’s unexpected remark about the meal left her stunned.

According to Mercy Aigbe, the pair had just finished eating when Juwon reportedly described the food as “cheap” despite the bill exceeding ₦600,000. His reaction prompted the actress to jokingly insist that he should settle the bill himself.

Mercy Aigbe said, “Took this boy to lunch and he had the effrontery to say the food is cheap, that the bill isn’t much. Y’all should tell him to pay; otherwise he will wash plates”.

The video captured the actress teasing her son over his comment, with the pair appearing to enjoy the outing despite the playful disagreement over the cost of the meal.

The lunch date comes shortly after Mercy shared another family moment in which Juwon drove her in her car, saying he wanted to prove he had become a “big boy.”
