Chelsea have continued their heavy investment in the transfer market after completing the signing of England international Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa.

The Blues secured Rogers in a club-record deal worth around £117 million (€135 million), making the 23-year-old one of the most expensive players in football history and adding another name to Chelsea’s growing list of €100 million-plus signings.

Here are the five players Chelsea have signed for transfer fees of €100 million or more:

1. Morgan Rogers – €135m (Aston Villa, 2026)

Chelsea broke their transfer record to sign Rogers in a deal worth around €135 million. The England forward arrived after an outstanding spell at Aston Villa, where he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting attackers and helped the club win the UEFA Europa League.

2. Enzo Fernández – €121m (Benfica, 2023)

Chelsea activated Fernández’s €121 million release clause after the midfielder starred for Argentina during their victorious 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign. He remains one of the club’s biggest-ever signings and has become a key figure in midfield.

3. Moisés Caicedo – €116m (Brighton & Hove Albion, 2023)

Chelsea won the race for the Ecuador international after beating Liverpool to his signature. The transfer, worth about €116 million, made Caicedo one of the most expensive midfielders in football history.

4. Romelu Lukaku – €113m (Inter Milan, 2021)

The Blues paid more than €100 million to bring Lukaku back from Inter Milan following his prolific Serie A campaign. However, his second stint at Stamford Bridge failed to live up to expectations before he eventually departed.

5. Mykhailo Mudryk – Up to €100m (Shakhtar Donetsk, 2023)

Chelsea signed the Ukrainian winger in a deal worth an initial €70 million, with performance-related add-ons taking the package to €100 million. The move saw the London club beat Arsenal to one of Europe’s most sought-after young talents.
