Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has reaffirmed his confidence in his Deputy, Mani Malam Mummuni by endorsing him as running mate for a second term in the 2027 Election’s.
Presenting the letter of endorsement at the Government House Gusau, Governor Dauda Lawal described his Deputy Governor as a committed, loyal, patient, humble, and dependable partner whose dedication to duty has contributed immensely to the success of the administration.
The Governor says he has enjoyed cordial and productive working relationship with his deputy, noting that his wealth of experience, sound judgment, and unwavering commitment to public service have played a significant role in advancing the administration’s developmental agenda.
Mr. Lawal also emphasised that, the achievements recorded by his administration across various sectors, particularly in infrastructure and good governance, have been made possible through teamwork, with his Deputy making valuable contributions toward the realization of the government’s vision for a greater Zamfara State.
In his acceptance speech, the Deputy Governor, Mani Malam Mummuni expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah and thanked Governor Dauda Lawal for the confidence reposed in him which translated to retaining as him as running mate, come 2027.
Mani Mumuni pledged to remain loyal, dedicated, and committed to the administration’s vision, assuring the Governor and the people of Zamfara State that he would continue to work tirelessly to ensure the successful implementation of government policies and programmes, especially in the areas of infrastructure development and the provision of essential services.
The Deputy Governor also appealed to the people of Zamfara State to renew their mandate by supporting the administration in the forthcoming election, thereby giving Governor Dauda Lawal the opportunity to consolidate on the achievements already recorded, complete ongoing projects, and initiate new programmes aimed at improving the welfare and living standards of the people.
