Transfer: Tosin Adarabioyo among players to leave Chelsea this summer
Chelsea defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, is currently facing an uncertainty over his future at Stamford Bridge as the 2026/2027 season approaches.
The centre-back, who joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham, has experienced a challenging period with the Blues, struggling to secure a consistent starting position. Transfer Rumor Analysis
Since his arrival at Chelsea in the summer of 2024, the 28-year-old has made 70 appearances in all competitions, netting seven goals and providing one assist.
As reported by the BBC, the former captain of the Manchester City youth team may be among those leaving Chelsea this summer as the club aims to restructure its squad under the new management of Xabi Alonso.
The Blues had a disappointing 2025/2026 season, failing to qualify for European competitions despite having previously won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League.
As preparations for the new Premier League season commence, Tosin will be keen to clarify his club future and regain his career momentum.
His situation is also being closely observed in Nigeria, as the defender is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles at the senior level, having never made a competitive appearance for England despite his participation in various youth levels. Nigerian Leagues Overview
