Tinubu Swears In RMAFC, NPC Commissioners, Holds FEC Meeting

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, swore in two new Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The President also swore in newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC).

The swearing-in was done at the Council Chamber of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.

Among those inaugurated for the RMAFC were Amina Gamawa (Bauchi State) and a former Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Abdullahi Mukhtar Mohammed (Kaduna State). Both took the oath of office as federal commissioners for the revenue commission.

For the National Population Commission, six new commissioners were sworn in. They are:

Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi – Ekiti State
Nasiru Mu’azu – Zamfara State
Isaka Alada Yahaya – Kwara State
Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda – Katsina State
Suleiman Umar – Jigawa State
Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo – Sokoto State

Following the swearing-in, President Tinubu presided over a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The FEC meeting, which is the first in about two months, was attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, cabinet ministers, and other senior government officials.
