Remember Me In Your Prayers – Kehinde Adegbodu Speaks On Health Condition Amid Shocking Weight Loss
Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has addressed concerns about his health after many fans noticed changes in his appearance and began speculating that he was seriously ill.
NEWSNGR reports that the singer explained that his recent weight loss was not caused by any life-threatening sickness.
According to him, he was involved in a fire incident at his home, which left him with injuries on his left hand and parts of his face, including his lips.
Speaking in a video shared on Instagram, Kehinde assured supporters that he is medically stable and asked them to continue praying for him.
He stated that the accident was not connected to any spiritual issue and noted that everyone faces different challenges in life, whether physical or spiritual.
He also reacted to claims linking the incident to alcohol consumption.
The gospel artiste said alcohol was not responsible for the fire outbreak.
He added that his slimmer appearance was partly due to health-related reasons and recalled that some people had previously advised him to lose weight because they felt he had become too big.
He said, “To everyone that is worried about me, I am very okay and medically fit. I had a minor fire accident in the house but I decided not to post it on the social media. It affected my left hand and some parts of my face including my lips. It was not a spiritual attack. Everyone has one or two things they are battling with medically and spiritually. Just remember me in your prayers.
“To those saying my alcohol consumption is too much, alcohol didn’t cause the fire. I lost some weight because of my health. When Taiwo passed away, people called me that my stomach was too big and I should work on it. I am not sick.”
