Pastor Adeboye Defends Tinubu Against Criticism Over Nigeria’s Worsening Insecurity
According to report by Nigerian Tribune on Monday, June 29, 2026, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has defended President Bola Tinubu against criticism over Nigeria’s worsening insecurity, arguing that the president has fulfilled his constitutional responsibility by directing the nation’s security agencies to tackle the crisis.
According to him, once a president issues clear operational directives to the military, the responsibility for executing those orders rests with the armed forces rather than the president personally.
