Dr. Bashir Kurfi, Convener of the Katsina Community Security Initiative, has advocated a more inclusive approach to addressing insecurity in northern Nigeria, saying the involvement of Fulani communities is crucial to defeating banditry, terrorism and kidnapping.
Making his case, Kurfi said, “If truly we want to stop this, you also have to recruit the Fulanis because the Fulanis were the first victims of this terror that’s going on now.”
