In an interesting turn of events, Love Is Blind‘s Brittany Mills revealed that she dated not only Kenneth Gorham but also Jimmy Presnell while in the pods. During Love Is Blind season 6, Brittany seemed to hit it off from the start with Kenneth, whose proposal she accepted. The relationship between both Brittany and Kenneth appeared to be strong and full of chemistry while they were in the honeymoon phase on Love Is Blind. However, as soon as the couple arrived at the home they would share, Brittany revealed to Kenneth that she wanted to end the relationship.
Now it appears that Brittany may have hit it off with more than one man in the famous Love Is Blind pods. During an episode of the De-Influenced with Dani Austin podcast, Brittany admitted, “I was actually dating somebody else, and it didn’t get shown because he was in a lot of drama. And poor Kenneth, like, I had him on the edge of his seat.“
Brittany confirmed that the other man was, in fact, Jimmy, and continued to explain, “He’s just really smooth with his words.” Jimmy, however, was too mixed up in the love triangle with Chelsea Blackwell and Jessica Vestal.
When Love Is Blind season 6 dropped on Netflix in early 2024, Brittany was introduced as one of the women hoping to find her perfect match. Love Is Blind is a unique dating show in which people are asked to be vulnerable and try to fall in love without knowing anything about the physical appearance of the person on the other side of the wall. Brittany joined the cast of Love Is Blind season 6 because she was tired of the casual dating scene and wanted to find someone with whom she could settle down, get married, and start a family.
One of the first couples to spark a connection was Brittany and Kenneth, who won her over in a meaningful way. During the episode of De-Influenced, Brittany explained how Kenneth was able to win her heart, even while the smooth-talking Jimmy pursued her. She said, “I was like, ‘He is so God-fearing.’ ‘Brittany, that is what you need.‘” Brittany accepted Kenneth’s proposal, and when the two were able to see each other, they were all smiles. Brittany and Kenneth excitedly joined the rest of the couples in Punta Cana, but once they returned to Charlotte, North Carolina, they split up.
It came as a major shock when Brittany told Kenneth that she was not going to be able to continue the experiment and relationship with him. Brittany explained that she did not have the same feelings for Kenneth that she had while they were in the pods and away on their honeymoon. This talk occurred almost immediately upon arriving at the home where they were supposed to start the next phase of their relationship. To his credit, Kenneth gracefully accepted what Brittany was telling him and immediately called the producers to let them know what had happened.
While it was surprising and a little heartbreaking to watch the breakup between Brittany and Kenneth, it was nothing compared to the drama that was to come with the rest of the couples. Four couples were left to continue the journey, and they began to leave the experimental dating show one by one until only two couples remained: Clay Gravesande and AD Smith, and Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre. During the Love Is Blind season 6 finale, the only couple who was able to say, “I do,” at the altar was Amy and Johnny, who still remain together.
