Victor Ozhianvuna: Incoming Arsenal signing sends farewell to current club

Victor Ozhianvuna has said goodbye to Shamrock Rovers after making his last appearance for the club, with his switch to Arsenal now edging closer.
Arsenal are expected to complete the signing of Ozhianvuna during the January transfer window, having reached an agreement for him in October 2025.
At that stage, he was still only 16 and therefore unable to officially join up with his new teammates.
He turns 18 in January 2027 clearing the way for the transfer to be finalised in the winter window.
Until now, Ozhianvuna has remained with Shamrock Rovers. With their season over, he has paid tribute to the club where he progressed from the academy into senior football.
In a social media post, he reflected on spending 11 memorable years at the club and said he was leaving with experiences he will never forget.
“After 11 amazing years, I’m saying goodbye to the club where I’ve made memories that I’ll never forget,” Ozhianvuna wrote on Instagram.
Ozhianvuna is reportedly set to sign a four-and-a-half-year deal with Arsenal in January, keeping him at the Premier League North London club until 2031.
