EPL: Carrick confirms major injury blow ahead of Man Utd vs Aston Villa

Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has confirmed that Carlos Baleba will be out for several weeks.
Carrick was speaking to the media on Friday, ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
Baleba pulled up with a hamstring injury during United’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Roma in the Champions League in midweek.
The Cameroon midfielder will miss the Villa fixture, while Patrick Dorgu is back in training.
Carrick said: “With Carlos, Baleba, we don’t know exactly, but it’ll be a number of weeks.
“It’s definitely not this week, and he won’t be back at any point over the international break. It’ll be a little bit longer than that.
“Patrick’s [Dorgu] done a little bit of training this week. He’s trained with us at the start of the week, but it was very, very small.
“We’ve got to be patient with Patrick. He’s had a difficult period with a couple of hamstring injuries, which we need to manage, and we’ve got to be patient with that over the next few weeks as well.
“He’s slowly getting back with us, so we’ll have to see whether he can be involved at the weekend or not.”
