The Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has warned Christians against buying Christmas clothes when they have not paid their tithes, describing the act as very dangerous.
Pastor Ibiyeomie gave the warning while preaching in his church in a sermon video which has now gone viral on social media.
In the video, the cleric said, “Year is ending, don’t buy Christmas clothes when you have not paid tithe. It’s dangerous. It’s very dangerous.”
He warned believers not to tamper with their tithes during the festive season, noting that failure to pay tithe could lead to misfortunes.
Pastor Ibiyeomie also recounted how vehicles conveying him experienced tyre bursts when driven by persons who were not paying tithes.
According to him, one of the incidents occurred in Ibadan when two tyres burst while he was on a journey. He said he confronted the driver after discovering he was not a tither.
