Organisers of the Ballon d’Or, France Football, have published three ‘winner’ articles on the official website this evening.

The Ballon d’Or site had one each for Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal.

Each profile declared its subject the winner.

However, all three profiles have since been taken down, and the deleted profiles are already causing a stir on social media.

As the event kicks off in London tonight, the organisers have already unveiled the finishing positions of 20 of the nominees.

It is now confirmed that the trio of Kane, Mbappe and Yamal have officially made the final top 10.
