Zamfara APC Vows Massive Votes For Tinubu In 2027 At Yari Solidarity Walk

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has pledged to deliver a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, as thousands of party supporters took to the streets of Gusau in a solidarity walk.

The supporters, drawn from the A.A. Yari Political Organisation, Shehi Movement Organisation and Yari 774 Initiative for Asiwaju 2027, marched from the Trade Fair Complex to the Zamfara State Government House, chanting support for Tinubu and the APC.

The Zamfara APC Chairman, Kabiru Moyi, told the gathering that the party would not only retain the state but deliver an unprecedented number of votes for Tinubu in 2027.

Moyi said the appointment of former Zamfara Governor Abdul’azeez Yari as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council had further strengthened the party’s mobilisation structure ahead of the election.

He expressed confidence that Yari’s political experience and grassroots network would help deliver a landslide victory for Tinubu in Zamfara. The pledge was also reported by the News Agency of Nigeria.

The Chairman of the A.A. Yari Political Organisation, Lawal Liman, said the groups were ready to work with Yari and the APC to mobilise voters across the state and secure victory for the party at all levels in 2027.

He said the solidarity walk was not merely to celebrate Yari’s appointment but to demonstrate the groups’ commitment to Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

The procession attracted APC stakeholders and supporters from across the state, with major roads in Gusau partially disrupted as the crowd moved towards Government House.

Receiving the groups on behalf of Governor Dauda Lawal, Deputy Governor Mani Mumuni thanked them for the show of support and pledged to convey their message to President Tinubu.

The governor, through his deputy, also expressed confidence in the APC’s chances in the 2027 elections, describing Yari’s appointment as an opportunity for Zamfara to demonstrate its voting strength.

The groups subsequently reaffirmed their commitment to mobilising support for Tinubu, Governor Lawal and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The rally comes amid growing efforts within the APC to build its grassroots campaign structure ahead of the 2027 presidential contest, with Yari expected to coordinate the party’s campaign nationwide.
