The event was supported by the Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as part of efforts to provide platforms for political stakeholders and citizens to engage and participate actively in the democratic process.
The state government reaffirmed its commitment to initiatives that promote political participation, unity, peaceful engagement and democratic governance.
The gathering ended with supporters and the newly received APC members expressing confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and the ruling party.
The statement said the turnout “further demonstrated Kano’s strategic position as a major political centre in Northern Nigeria and highlighted the increasing political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.”
