No Child Will Be Left Out of School, Adamawa PDP Governorship Candidate Pledges

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Maurice Vunobolki, has pledged to ensure that no child is left out of school if elected governor in the 2027 governorship election.
Vunobolki made the promise during an interactive session with journalists in Yola, where he unveiled his vision and development agenda for the state ahead of the election.
He said his administration would prioritise education, particularly the strengthening of public schools across the state to ensure that children have access to quality and affordable education.
According to him, his government would introduce measures to make education and school feeding free for children, with the aim of encouraging parents to send their children to school.
Vunobolki said he attended a public school and benefited from the quality of education available at the time, adding that he has no regrets about his experience.
He therefore promised to invest heavily in public schools and improve their standards to make them attractive to students and parents across the state.
The PDP candidate described education as the bedrock of any society, stressing that lack of access to education could contribute to social problems, including drug abuse and crime among young people.

He said his administration would also give priority to addressing the security challenges confronting some parts of Adamawa State, noting that development could not thrive in an environment of insecurity and unrest.
Vunobolki pledged to take decisive measures to improve security and create a conducive environment for economic and social activities across the state.
He said his overall objective was to transform Adamawa into a more prosperous and peaceful state through a development agenda centred on power, prosperity and peace.
He called on the people of Adamawa to support his vision, promising that his administration, if elected, would place the welfare and future of the people at the centre of governance.
