FC Barcelona has generated more than €1 billion in ordinary revenue for the first time in the club’s history, with increased income from stadium operations playing a major role in the record figure.
The club announced the development on its official X page, highlighting the significance of the financial milestone despite the limitations surrounding its home venue during the first half of the season.
“This revenue level stems primarily from the increase in revenues generated from stadium operations,” Barcelona said, noting that some matches were played at the Estadi Johan Cruyff and Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, while others were staged at Spotify Camp Nou with a spectator capacity of 42,000.
The club said the achievement was particularly significant because its budget forecast had been based on beginning the season at a stadium with a capacity of more than 60,000 spectators.

“This revenue level is particularly significant; for despite these conditions, the budget forecast for the fiscal year has been almost entirely met,” Barcelona said.
According to the club, the figures demonstrate the financial potential of Spotify Camp Nou once renovation work is completed and the stadium returns to full operational capacity.
“This situation once again confirms the great future potential that Spotify Camp Nou will have when it becomes fully operational at full capacity,” the club said.
Barcelona added that the record revenue was also supported by continued growth in sponsorship income and strong sales of club merchandise through Barça Licensing and Merchandising (BLM), the club’s affiliate company.
The Catalan club described the turnover from BLM as a record, making it another key contributor to the €1 billion-plus revenue milestone.
