Transfer: Charlton Athletic, Bolton Wanderers battle for Okonkwo

Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers have been linked with a move for Wrexham goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo, DAILY POST reports.
Okonkwo’s future is currently up in the air following Anthony Patterson’s arrival at Wrexham from Sunderland.
Patterson is set to become the Red Dragons’ new first-choice goalkeeper.
According to Sports Illustrated, it is expected that Okonkwo will leave Wrexham before the end of the current transfer window.
The Nigeria international initially joined Wrexham on loan from Arsenal in 2023.
The 24-year-old has made 108 league appearances for the club across the last three campaigns.
Okonkwo, who made 39 appearances for Wrexham last season, has one-year left on his contract with the Red Dragons.
He has been capped twice on the international scene by Nigeria.
