The 2026/27 Premier League season continues on Sunday with three Matchweek 2 fixtures, as Chelsea welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Stamford Bridge, Leeds United host Brentford at Elland Road, while Sunderland face Fulham at the Stadium of Light. All six teams will be looking to build momentum early in the campaign as they seek valuable points.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are aiming to make it two wins from two in the Premier League after opening their campaign with a 3-2 victory over Fulham. Brighton also made a strong start, defeating Aston Villa 4-0 in their opening fixture. The Seagulls have also enjoyed recent success against Chelsea, making Sunday’s meeting an early test for the Blues.

Leeds United also enter their home fixture against Brentford with three points already secured after a 1-0 away victory over Nottingham Forest. Brentford, meanwhile, produced an impressive opening-day result by beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-0. Both teams will therefore be seeking another positive result as they look to establish themselves early in the season.

At the Stadium of Light, Sunderland take on Fulham, with both sides looking to get their first points of the campaign. Sunderland suffered a 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town in their opening match, while Fulham also began the season with a loss. The confirmed line-ups feature several notable names, including Granit Xhaka for Sunderland and Alex Iwobi for Fulham.
