The two-time World Cup runners-up secured the win at the Municipal Stadium in Brzeg, Poland, with Mary Mamudu scoring the decisive goal in first-half stoppage time.
The victory provides a timely morale boost for Moses Aduku’s side as they prepare for their opening Group B fixture against Spain on Monday, September 7.

The Falconets will have another opportunity to fine-tune their preparations when they face the Republic of Korea in their final friendly on Tuesday, September 1, at the Remes Sports Leisure and Spa Stadium.
Nigeria will begin their World Cup campaign against Spain on September 7 before facing China three days later.
The Falconets will round off their group-stage fixtures against New Caledonia on September 13.
