APC National Secretary Visits Adeleke Ahead Of 2027 Elections

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, has visited Osun State Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke as part of discussions on securing the state for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Basiru disclosed this after the visit, saying the meeting focused on delivering Osun State for President Tinubu in 2027, while also congratulating Adeleke on his victory at the polls and expressing appreciation for the governor’s presence at his late mother’s burial.

He said, “On a congratulatory visit to His Excellency, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his victory at the polls, and to specially appreciate him for his visit during the burial of my late mother, as well as to discuss how to deliver Osun for Mr. President, as promised by Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the 2027 Presidential Election.”

Basiru said Adeleke had promised to work towards the outcome during their engagement.

The visit comes ahead of the 2027 general elections, with political parties and key stakeholders already intensifying consultations and mobilisation efforts across the country.
