The Waiting Was Not A Bad One – Lateef Adedimeji Speaks On Journey To Welcoming Triplets With Mo Bimpe
Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared his experience after discovering that his wife, actress Adebimpe Oyebade, also known as Mo Bimpe, was expecting triplets.
NEWSNGR reports that the actor revealed in an interview with Morayo Afolabi that the news came as a surprise and brought different emotions because the couple had waited for the arrival of their children for a long time.
He said the unexpected pregnancy news made the waiting period feel worthwhile.
The actor also spoke about how he stood by his wife throughout the pregnancy journey.
He explained that although he gave her the care and support she needed, he admired her strength in handling the process.
The actor further revealed that he was present during the delivery of their children, stating that he wanted to experience the moment with his wife rather than stay away.
He described childbirth as a challenging process and praised women for their strength.
He said: “It was shocking for me at the same time it was a mixed feeling, when you’ve been expecting something and then it came beyond your expectations that means the waiting is not a bad one. When you’ve been up and expecting and then it now finally happened you will pampered her but she’s a strong woman.
“I cannot stay back, we did it together we are in it together, I was right there and I saw it happen it wasn’t an easy task I give it up to woman well done.”
The actor and Mo Bimpe welcomed their triplet sons in May 2026 after choosing to keep the pregnancy away from the public.
Following the birth, Lateef announced the arrival of the children on social media and expressed gratitude for the new chapter in their family.
Lateef Adedimeji and Mo Bimpe got married in December 2021 after years of friendship and working together in the Nigerian film industry.
