NNL: Abubakar keen to build strong Wikki Tourists’ squad

Wikki Tourists technical adviser, Bala Abubakar has reaffirmed his commitment in assembling a competitive squad for the 2026-27 season.
The Bauchi Elephants are currently preparing for their campaign in the Nigeria National League, NNL.
Abubakar insisted that only those who prove their quality, commitment and readiness will make the final squad squad for the new season.
The tactician pointed that their target is to make an immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
“Our mission is clear, to return Wikki Tourists to the NPFL,” Abubakar told the club’s media.
“We know what is expected of us, and by the grace of Allah, with the support of our Management, Government, Supporters and all Stakeholders, we will achieve that goal.”
DAILY POST reports that Wikki Tourists have recorded four wins, and two defeats from six warm-up matches.
