Marry A Man Who Calls After An Argument – Toke Makinwa Advises Women
Media personality Toke Makinwa has shared advice for women on what to consider before getting married.
NEWSNGR reports that the influencer in a post on her Instagram story said women should look beyond pride and pay attention to emotional maturity when choosing a life partner.
According to her, the way a man behaves after disagreements can show his true character in a relationship.
She explained that a good partner is one who does not allow arguments to create long silence or distance.
Instead, he should be willing to reach out, check on his partner’s well-being, and work through issues with care.
Makinwa also noted that qualities such as understanding, empathy, and open communication matter more than ego when building a lasting relationship.
In her view, a man who is ready to listen, admit when he is wrong, and repair misunderstandings is better suited for marriage than one who avoids responsibility after conflict.
She wrote: “Marry the man who calls you after an argument just to make sure you’re okay. Not the one who leaves you alone with your tears. Choose the man who stays when things get hard and wants to understand you, not defeat you. A man who can pause, hold you, and say ‘I’m sorry’ because your relationship matters more to him than his ego.”
