“Why We Have 9 Doctors On Standby” –Mr Eazi reveals

Nigerian music star Mr Eazi and his wife, Temi Otedola, have disclosed that they currently have nine doctors on standby as they prepare for the birth of their first child.

The couple made the revelation in a viral social media video, explaining that they had consulted multiple medical professionals because they were uncertain about the country where their baby would eventually be born.

Speaking in the video, Mr Eazi said: “Why exactly do we see nine doctors? Nine doctors because to give you options to sort of like see not just that because we didn’t know where we were gonna be. Fine, which country? Yeah, we didn’t know which country we were gonna be like decide to. I wanted Japan because I wanted Japan.”

The singer further revealed that he had considered having the baby in Japan and had even begun exploring possible Japanese names.

Reacting to the idea, Temi jokingly dismissed the suggestion, saying: “By the way, he’s also been looking at Japanese names and I’m like no, absolutely not.”

The light-hearted exchange has since attracted widespread reactions online, with fans sharing their thoughts on the couple’s preparations and Mr Eazi’s interest in Japanese-inspired baby names.

Mr Eazi and Temi tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025.
