Primate Ayodele to Kwankwaso: I Never Defamed You, I Only Shared Prophecy Received from God
According to a report by The Cable on Thursday, June 25, 2026, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has dismissed allegations of defamation made against him by former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, insisting that his recent remarks about the politician were based solely on a divine revelation and not intended to damage his reputation.
Kwankwaso, who currently serves as the running mate to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), alleged through his lawyers that Ayodele made statements portraying him as insincere in his political relationship with Obi and suggesting that he was financially motivated to accept the vice-presidential position.
