Officer Woos Denies Drug Trafficking Allegations, Threatens Legal Action

Nigerian content creator Jubril Oladapo Gbadamosi, popularly known as Officer Woos, has denied viral reports claiming he was arrested over alleged drug trafficking activities.

Reports circulating online on Thursday alleged that the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) arrested him for allegedly importing a large consignment of bread and brownies laced with cocaine from Mexico.

However, in a statement issued on Saturday through his legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, Officer Woos dismissed the claims as false, defamatory, and a deliberate attempt to damage his reputation, brand, and professional standing.

The statement further warned of legal action against those responsible for spreading the allegation, demanding an immediate and unconditional retraction across all platforms where the report was published. It also called for a public apology within 48 hours.

“Our client further demands that a public apology be issued on the same platforms on which the defamatory statements were published within forty-eight (48) hours,” the lawyers stated.

Meanwhile, both NAFDAC and the NDLEA have not officially confirmed or denied the alleged arrest at the time of filing this report.

It is also noted that the content creator reportedly stepped away from content creation in 2025 to focus on bread production.
