VICTOR Osimhen is believed to favour a switch to an English Premier League club rather than Paris Saint-Germain, reports in Italy have claimed.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria striker is set to leave Napoli this summer after three years at the Serie A side, and he has been linked to several clubs across Europe.

PSG have often been claimed as one of the likeliest clubs set to land the 25-year-old but it emerged today that he is not so keen on the French champions.

Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli back in December that contains a reported €120 to €130m release clause, and he intends to leave in the coming months, ready for a new challenge after leading the club to the Scudetto in the 2022-2023 season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Osimhen is not interested in joining PSG this summer despite their interest, unconvinced about the idea of playing in Ligue 1.

He has often expressed a dream of playing in the Premier League for years and is waiting for calls from England.

Arsenal and Chelsea have regularly been linked with Osimhen but it could take an offer of over £100m to find a deal with Napoli, who are unlikely to accept anything less than his release clause, Football Italia reported today.

Napoli are believed to not be in a rush and the transfer saga could drag on for months as Osimhen waits for the Premier League.
