Terrorists Kill More Than 20, Abduct Residents in Ribah, Kebbi; Zamfara Border Communities on Alert

SECURITY ALERT: Ribah in Danko/Wasagu LGA, Kebbi State
Armed terrorists reportedly invaded Ribah town in Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State at about 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, killing more than 20 people and abducting several others.
The attack occurred in the Christian-dominated Zuru Emirate zone of southern Kebbi State.
Videos circulating online show more than 30 armed men carrying AK-47 rifles moving inside the community during the raid.
Residents and military intelligence sources told TruthNigeria that more than 20 people were killed, while an unspecified number of residents were taken away by the attackers.
Residents of communities around the Kebbi-Zamfara border should remain highly vigilant and report suspicious movements immediately.
Suspected Escape Route and Further Threat
The attackers were last reportedly seen moving towards the Zamfara State border, raising concerns about possible attacks on neighbouring communities.
Intelligence reports received by TruthNigeria suggest that communities around the Kebbi-Zamfara border may face further threats.
Kebbi State shares boundaries with both Zamfara and Niger states, making border communities particularly important to monitor following the Ribah attack.
SECURITY ADVISORY AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
Communities should avoid isolated roads, farms and poorly lit routes, particularly at night.
Residents should promptly alert security agencies to sightings of armed groups or unusual motorcycle movements.
Traditional rulers, community leaders and vigilante groups should urgently share verified threat information with security agencies.
Residents should avoid confronting heavily armed attackers or attempting independent pursuit.
Anyone receiving credible information about impending attacks should communicate it immediately to the police, military or other appropriate security authorities.
