“Let’s give Peter Obi a chance to make the country great again” — Laide Olabanji

Nollywood actor Laide Olabanji has called on Nigerians to give NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi a chance to lead the country.
Olabanji made the call in a caption accompanying a post on his Instagram page, where he criticised supporters of the current government who, according to him, want the administration to return to power despite economic hardship.
“You’ve not had light since and you can’t even afford to buy fuel and yet you want the current government to come back,” he wrote.
The actor argued that a government that damages a country can be replaced by another administration capable of rebuilding it.
“If a government can destroy it, another government is ready to rebuild it,” Olabanji said.
He also referenced the administrations of Shehu Shagari and Muhammadu Buhari, through Ibrahim Babangida’s military government, claiming that Shagari “destroyed everything” while Idiagbon helped make Nigeria “great again” within four months.
Olabanji concluded by urging Nigerians to support Peter Obi.
“Let’s give Peter Obi a chance to make the country great again,” he wrote.
