Euromatch NPFL: Mangut lauds Nasarawa United’s display in win over Enyimba
The Solid Miners extended their winning streak to four games with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over the nine-time champions at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
Jofrank Joshua scored the winning goal for the hosts in the 23rd minute.
Nasarawa United moved to third position on the table following the win.
Mangut also said his team would have scored more goals in the keenly contested encounter.
“Let me give credit to the boys for securing the maximum points. We should have scored more goals, but the three points are more important,” Mangut told the club’s media.
Nasarawa United will travel away to Kano Pillars for their next league game.
